The Thorngale Oracle Deck is Finally Here
and she's beautiful!
This morning I launched the kickstarter for the Thorngale Oracle Deck—a 44 card divination deck featuring all my original art in gorgeous, glossy 4 x 6 cards, alongside an accompanying booklet. It’s the most ambitious and daunting project I’ve ever taken on, but in many ways the most rewarding. I really hope I get the opportunity to print it so anyone who wants their own deck can have it! Backing the kickstarter will be the cheapest way to purchase the decks—more pledges means printing more units which means lowering the cost per unit at resale.
I had to go with a fairly pricey printing service because I did not want to sacrifice quality or detail, and it was important for me they remain 4 x 6 for printing and display purposes, a significantly larger size than your average tarot card! Essentially you are purchasing 44 beautiful 4 x 6 quality art prints, along with a book—I think it’s a steal.
Some of the reward tiers on kickstarter have fun goodies included too, like digital downloads of Thorngale, my prior short fiction collections Salivation and Yellow Wallpapering, as well as custom stickers of the Oracle Deck art and some of the graphics I’ve made for Thorngale featuring my Cornwall photography.
